UK Local Government e-Invoicing – Survey Report 2015

The adoption of e-invoicing in the UK public sector is gathering pace, with studies showing that the use of this technology can save councils thousands of pounds each year.

Earlier this year, the UK National e-Invoicing Forum published its annual report, which praised the progress made in including electronic invoicing within the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Bill. However, it also highlighted the work still required before the public sector can fully realise the potential of einvoicing.

In light of the growing importance of this issue, Basware, in association with the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, the Local Government Association and the UK National e-Invoicing Forum recently worked with iGov Survey to conduct research into the way in which organisations across the UK local government are moving towards e-invoicing.
